Your PDF editor shouldn't need Adobe, a heavyweight install, or your files.

CalmPDF does the everyday PDF work — rearrange and merge pages, add text, sign, highlight, fill forms, watermark — right in your browser. No upload, no bloat, no nagging. One simple serial and you're in.

Files never leave your device First month free — then $10/mo, cancel anytime Hebrew & English text

Everything the everyday PDF needs

📑 Organize pages

Drag thumbnails to reorder. Rotate, duplicate or delete any page. Insert blank pages. Merge in another PDF with one click.

✂️ Split & extract

Save any selection or range ("1-3,7") as a new PDF, split every page into its own file, or export pages as PNG images.

✏️ Edit & add text — גם בעברית

Click the PDF's existing text to retype it in place, or click empty space to add new text. English and Hebrew both come out right — proper RTL, real embedded fonts.

🖊️ Sign & stamp

Draw your signature once; it's saved locally and placed with a click. Drop in logos or stamps from PNG/JPG files.

🖍️ Highlight, draw, white-out

Freehand pen, highlighter and cover-up boxes for quick markups and hiding what shouldn't be there.

📝 Fill forms

Fillable PDF forms are listed field-by-field — type the values, tick the boxes, optionally flatten so they can't be changed.

💧 Watermark & page numbers

Stamp DRAFT across every page, or add clean page numbers in any corner — size, position and starting number are yours.

↩️ Undo everything

Every action — page moves, text, drawings, deletes — steps back with Ctrl+Z. Your original file on disk is never touched.

🔎 OCR for scans — גם בעברית

Scanned documents have no digital text — CalmPDF reads them on your device (Hebrew & English), makes them searchable and editable, and saves a PDF that's searchable in every viewer. Nothing is uploaded.

💻 Install it like an app

In Chrome or Edge, install CalmPDF to your computer: it gets its own window, works offline, and registers as an "Open with" choice for PDF files — you can even make it your default PDF editor.

The whole app is the privacy policy

CalmPDF is a static page. There is no server to upload to — opening, editing and saving all happen inside your browser using Mozilla's pdf.js and the open-source pdf-lib. Close the tab and nothing remains anywhere. That's why it works on contracts, medical records and anything else you'd rather not hand to a random "free PDF site".

Fair questions

How do I get a serial number?

CalmPDF activates with a serial number from a simple monthly subscription — your first month is free, then $10/month, every update included, cancel anytime. Subscribe and get your serial here; it arrives by email instantly and unlocks the app on your device (each serial works on up to 2 devices). If the subscription ends, the serial simply stops working. No page limits and no output watermarks, ever.

Does it change my original file?

Never. Edits are saved as a new download (yourfile-edited.pdf). The file you opened stays untouched on your device.

What about password-protected PDFs?

Not yet — encrypted files are declined with a clear message rather than mangled. Remove the password first with the tool that set it.

Do form fields survive editing?

Yes — as long as you keep the page structure (annotate, fill, rotate, delete pages), fields stay interactive. After merging or reordering pages the fields' values are kept but become part of the page.

Can I edit the PDF's existing text?

Yes — pick the Text tool and the PDF's printed lines get a dashed outline. Click one and retype it right where it is; CalmPDF matches the text color and background automatically and bakes the change into the saved file. Two honest notes: the replacement uses the app's own font (close, not identical to the original), and the old text is covered rather than erased — so don't rely on it to redact secrets.

How do I make it my default PDF editor?

Open the editor in Chrome or Edge and click ⇩ Install app in the toolbar (or the install icon in the address bar). Once installed: on Windows, right-click any PDF → Open with → CalmPDF and tick Always (or Settings → Apps → Default apps → set .pdf to CalmPDF). The installed app also works with no internet connection.

Can I rename the app?

Yes — click the app's name in the editor toolbar and make it yours: name it "Gordi" and it becomes GordiPDF by Hoteliers, and you can upload your own logo too. Both live on your device only.

Which browsers work?

Current Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on desktop. It runs on tablets too; fine mouse work is nicer with a mouse or pen.
